Violet has a great concern for decorum, or the appropriateness of a solution. A design should be made to fit the needs of people - people should not be convinced to fit their lives around a design.

Good Design is not a ready-made product which can be applied or delivered to any situation. There is a distinct difference between adherence to principals, and pushing a set of predetermined aesthetic or stylistic tastes.

We believe that we should see our clients in our work. Therefore, the appearance of our solutions varies from one collaboration to the next. That doesn’t mean that we’re not adhering to principals. But we are careful not to confuse our personal tastes with our professional values.

As you look through examples of our work, you are seeing the culmination of human interactions. You are looking at the results of vastly differing processes of collaboration. These are design solutions to a variety of real-world problems, and what they look like reflects the great variety of needs and circumstances that surrounded their creation.

Yours should look like no other.
